A lovely mosaic project for Ocean Children’s Centre working with early years nursery (ages 3-5) and adult volunteers from an East London based law firm. We explored extensively the theme of the ocean to cover three large panels in the nursery out-door play area. We introduced the project with a trip to the London Aquarium for education and inspiration. We set up observational drawing sessions after visits to the fish markets. We also experimented with collage and panting to get them used to ‘painting with tiles’.
