Opposite the East London Mosque in Whitechapel is a very cool and cosy, tiny little bar called Indo. Not only is it a friendly place to down a beer it also doubles up as an art gallery and is open late on the weekends with an eclectic mix of locals packed in for some great tunes and good vibes. It also serves delicious pizzas at remarkable value.

The mosaic fish on the wall, that you squeeze past to get to the bathroom, is my creation especially for Indo and its one of my favorite pieces. Its based on a Koi Carp. Its made of vitreous glass and ceramic mosaic and has glittery mirror bits in its scales.
